As a practical, interactive, solution-focused art therapist and addictions counselor, my therapeutic approach is distinctive and effective. I am the only professional in Louisiana who is licensed as an addictions counselor and board certifiied as an art therapist.

My approach focuses on the individuality of each client. Each client is carefully assessed and evaluated. Then a specialized treatment program is built around the client's strengths and needs. The therapy that follows focuses on meeting the goals set by the client and the therapist working together.

My practice provides the highest quality services with senstivity, care and integrity. Regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity I work to improve health, well-being and quality of life.

With an integration of art based complimentary methods, I draw from a selection of styles and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each individual.  I engage a treatment philosophy that allows for and respects the client's full responsibility for their values, goals and choices.

I belive that motivation, the fuel behind personal change is not rigid and static, but fluid, dynamic--changable. I support the strength, resilience and responsibility of clients in their recovery process. Together with each client I work to build on strengths toward acheiving life goals.
